Explanation of Offerings

Offerings- what are they?

They are a freewill offering given each Divine Service and dedicated to God as a sacrifice, representing a portion of our natural blessings granted by God to us. These are used for the welfare of the Church under the direction of the Apostle.

The Apostolic Church has several ways to give ‘Offerings’ they are; Mission, Thanksgiving, Church Fund and Special Events.

Mission

On the first Sunday of each month and on Mission Sunday (first Sunday in September), offerings are dedicated to God for use in bringing souls out of darkness to the light of salvation - both within the district and globally, under the direction of the Apostle.

Thanksgiving

Every year we celebrate Thanksgiving, a celebration of thanks for all blessings that have been received through the establishment of the Apostle Office and in our natural lives.

These funds are used for the expansion of the church under the direction of the Apostle

Church Fund

An offering to support the local church community for upkeep, maintenance and improvements.

This fund is managed locally in collaboration with the community members.

Special Events

During the year there are events such as Christmas Tree, Charity Concerts and Appeals, with these come the need to fund and support them.

These funds are administered by each community for the event to both support it and fund future instances
